Take the STCW Proficiency in Security Awareness course online
Virtual Training Centre offer the new online Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) course, approved by the UK Department for Transport (DfT) Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA).
The course is 100% online, includes learning confirmation questions throughout the course and a final assessment of 25 questions (randomised from a large bank of questions) at the end of the course. There is therefore no requirement for the candidate to attend a test centre.
The course also requires (under the MCA) specific learner verification, which is achieved by means of an online form where they complete their details, upload their personal ID and submit.
On successful completion of the course the learner can immediately download a proof of completion certificate. The official STCW ISPS certificate will be scanned and emailed to the learner or company (depending on how the course was secured). Additional official embossed certificates can be purchased for an additional cost and posted direct.
