Job Description:
Positions available for Retail Operations Manager with large international and expanding cruise line (office based).Position Overview
Coordination and overseeing of all retail outlets on assigned vessel(s) to ensure successful and profitable operation, meeting company standards and passenger expectations. To mentor and support the Shop Manager and Shop Staff through sales and product training, to assist them to reach and maintain the Company standards
Ideal profile
• Previous experience in similar position either ashore or onboard (ship experience preferred).
• Fluent English, Italian (advantage not compulsory) + additional EU language
• Demonstrated capability with Microsoft programs including (but not limited to) Office, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, and retail/warehousing programs.
• Willing to accept challenges, to work under pressure to set goals, to set up new revenue-generating strategies.
• He/she must be able to integrate into the Shops teams on board to motivate and support them by creating an atmosphere of cooperation.
