Job Description:
Responsible for the management of Princess enrichment programs which includes the hiring of destinational speakers for each vessel/itinerary as well as specialty lecturers and high-end expert lecturers. As each voyage is completed, evaluate the success of each individual lecturer and make recommendations for future voyages accordingly. Oversee the management of Computer Lecturers; Bridge Directors; Arts and Crafts; Clergy and Pottery Instructors. Maintain effective business relationships with various outside vendors as well as direct bookings. Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of a four-year college degree program. Demonstration of directly related work experience that has provided an equivalent breadth and depth of knowledge may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with ship management, vendors, lecturers, universities, other departments, and management.
Good management ability to assign responsibilities, allocate resources and direct corrective action to attain favorable business impact.
Organizational skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking and work under pressure to meet deadlines are important.
During the course of performing the duties of this position, frequent travel is required.
This job normally requires 4 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in the cruise or travel industry.
