If you are looking for an opportunity to really make a difference, apply now to join our great shipboard staff as a Human Resources Manager!! As the Human Resources Manager you will be responsible for shipâ??s overall Human Resources Division.

Responsibilities will include:
â?¢ Monitoring and providing advice on issues such as employee relations, conflict/grievance mediation and resolution, performance management, succession planning, and SQM policies and procedures.
â?¢ Working closely with department heads and providing them coaching, guidance and continuous feedback, as well as developing strategies to enhance overall employee satisfaction.
â?¢ Acting as the ship's liaison with regards to all contract discrepancies, permanent position changes and all inquiries received by the shore side Global Compensation Department.
â?¢ Monitoring the education line expense of the vesselâ??s operational budget, identifying and implementing expense reduction measures through cost efficiency planning and optimal resource allocation and utilization. Managing the HR/Training & Development budget within company guidelines.
â?¢ Providing recommendations for job description updates and job evaluations.
â?¢ Evaluating and ensuring that policies are in compliance with all legal, shipboard and company SQM requirements. Nurturing an international environment that fosters a committed team that continually builds upon service excellence in both the front and back of the house.
â?¢ Mentoring, developing and providing on-the-job training to your staff to strengthen their current performance and preparation for future advancement.

All applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
â?¢ 4-6 yrs. Of experience in Human Resources management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
â?¢ Minimum of 2 years experience managing staff of at least two (2) direct reports.
â?¢ Bachelorâ??s degree from an accredited university or college in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or 10 years senior management experience in Human Resources.
â?¢ Be able to speak, read, and write English
â?¢ Applicants must be able to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule
â?¢ Ability to meet all physical requirements.
