Job Description:
Currently looking for experienced croupiers to work on board Royal Caribbean Cruise lines.Applicants but be AUSTRALIAN or NEW ZEALAND residents.
You will be required to
•-Conduct gaming table games such as Blackjack, Dice, Roulette, or Caribbean Stud Poker and other related table games in the shipboard Casino
•-Conduct all Casino table games according to established guidelines and procedures
•-Exchange paper currency for playing chips or tokens. Announce the exchanges and updates clicker counting device to record the intake of cash
•-Ensure that wagers are placed before table gaming proceeds, such as cards are dealt, roulette wheel is spun, or dice are tossed
•-Accurately maintain the handling of cards, dice, chips, money and other gaming equipment at an appropriate rate to maintain the proper pace of the game. Inform players of the rules and regulations as the game progresses.
•Announce all winning hands, numbers or colors to players and computes payable odds to pay winning bets, pays winning bets and collects losing bets
Applicants must possess the following qualifications
•-Proof of completion of Gaming Board and/or Commission approved dealer school or international equivalency (gaming licence)
•-Two years dealer experience conducting Blackjack, Dice, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker, and various other casino games
•-Ability to rapidly discern the numbers on dice, cards, wheels, etc., and determine the outcome of the game
•-Ability to stand for an extended period of time
•-Completion of high school or GED required; university degree preferred
•-Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly and distinctly
•-Must meet all physical requirements, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
•-Must have the ability to obtain a C1/D1 Visa
•-Applicants must be able to accommodate a 6 months on / 2 months off contract schedule.
