Job Description:
Position:Stewardess contracts are six months on and two months off.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude, team worker, flexibility professional appearance, excellent communication and social skills, reliable and punctual.
Knowledge of Fidelio helpful.
Fluent in English. Conversational in one or more of the following languages; German French Italian or Spanish.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure that all assigned suites have been thoroughly cleaned, made up and stocked with supplies according to the Cruise Lines standards.
-Introduction to all Guests in assigned suites.
-Maintain cleanliness to assigned suites and section including hallway, pantries, lockers, bulkheads, overheads, vents and ledges.
-Report to Assistant Housekeeper any repair or maintenance needed.
-Ensure all amenities are available in guest suites.
-Ensure all in-room folders are current and in good condition in the residences.
-Adhere to working specifications describing linen routines, cleanliness and maintenance of suites.
-General cleaning of pantries according to USPH standards. Regular afternoon duty watch (on rotation basis).
-Assist guests with packing/unpacking if required. -Shoe polish service.
- Embarkation duties.
-Handle all of the ship's equipment with utmost care and reports all faulty/broken equipment.
-Assist management with training and induction of new personnel.
-Perform all other duties as requested by supervisor.
Experience:
Previous housekeeping experience in luxury resort or luxury cruise line required.
STCW certified preferred.
