I am trying really hard to get a cruise ship job. I am a culinary school graduate and fully qualified but i have never cooked on a cruise ship, it is my dream job. I recently interviewed for Steiner Cruise Lines for the position of Massage Therapist. I had passport, background check, etc. all in order and felt very qualified for the position. All they told me via email 1 day later was that I had failed the interview. (We were told we would hear from them within 10 days because everything had to be sent to London for review). I strongly am feeling that I failed because of my age which is 51.
