As an Audio-Visual Lights Operator you will be responsible for the operation, movement, and storage of all audio-visual equipment for performances by entertainers, as well as all programmed activities by the entertainment staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Move, set, operate, strike, and store all audio-visual equipment, such as lighting, sound, scenery, props, etc., throughout the ship on a day-to-day basis as needed.
• Attends weekly meetings as scheduled by the corporate office, A/V Manager or other members of the ship's management.
• Acts as audio-visual troubleshooter to help solve any equipment or stage problems as delegated by the A/V Manager.
• Meets with guest entertainers and certain groups to find out what their audio-related requirements may be for upcoming rehearsals, shows or activities.
• Sets up the Celebrity Show Lounge along with the Audio-Visual Team for show time to include the following:
Production Shows and Cabarets
Audio-Visual Projections & Stage Mechanics
Lighting, Sound, & Scenery
• Responsible for the projection of any films and/or video movies or other material as assigned.
• Responsible to see that the entire lighting rig and all lighting instruments are cleaned using pressurized air.
• Responsible to see that all lighting, show control, haze/fog and related equipment is properly maintained and kept in good working order.

Hiring Requirements:
• Minimum of one year of experience in an audio-visual function in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreational industry (shipboard experience preferred)
• Basic computer software skills required.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
Coursework in theater technical management at an accredited college or university or the international equivalent preferred.
• Be able to speak, read, and write English
