Responsibilities will include:
• Work closely with the Beverage Manager, in order
to ensure that bar operates efficiently, meeting
quality requirements and standards.
• Managing the financial aspects of the bar
operation, including operating the bar within the
budget requirements and the successful
identification of expense reduction through cost
control.
• Monitor the bar staff and provide a high degree
of “Floor presence” to ensure procedures and
services are performed in accordance with Royal
Caribbean International’s Gold Anchor
Standards.
• Train and monitor all levels of bartenders, services
and utility positions for proper skill and service.
• Continuously monitor USPH procedures for
sanitation and cleanliness.

Candidates are preferred to:
• Have strong proven leadership abilities and an
established vision for quality and excellence in
food & beverage operations
• Posses excellent guest problem resolution
experience and skill as well as the ability to
remain positive and calm under pressure.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality
Management, Business Administration, or a
related field.

Candidates MUST:
• Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in
a high volume setting, as well as experience
simultaneously managing 3-4 venues.
• Have at the minimum a high school degree / GED.
• Be able to speak, read, and write English
• Meet physical requirements including lift and/or
move up to 50 pounds.
• Accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off
contract schedule for this onboard position.
