Job Description:
Position:The Receptionist position is part of the Front Office Team. The position is a four month on and two month off position and begins as soon as possible. Our Receptionists offer full concierge service to our Residents and Guests.
Qualifications:
Hotel School Degree
Experience in a 5stars property
Outgoing and pleasant personality
Excellent communication skills
Good administrative skills
Understanding of highest level of service
Ability to handle Resident and guest concerns and to perform well under pressure
Good administrative and accounting skills
Creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving
Team player
Punctual
Responsibilities:
Attend to Guest requests in a pleasant and thoughtful manner.
Respond to telephone calls within three rings and route all incoming calls.
Logs and collects lost and found items, logs maintenance requests and complaints in Fidelio.
Coordinates all foreign language translations.
Prepares invitations, gift orders, letters, personalized stationery, boarding passes and suite keys.
Responsible for guest manifest printing, distribution and updating.
Maintains and is responsible for cash float as provided by Resort Controller.
Ensures suitable denominations of funds are maintained in cash float for resident and guest change.
Embarkation (check-in) and debarkation (check out) duties.
Assists Security Officer prior to departure to ensure all guests are accounted for and are onboard.
Works in partnership with the Tour Specialists.
Performs all other duties as requested by Rooms Division Manager.
Experience:
Any shipboard experience helpful
Preferably three to five years experience as similar position at international five-star establishment
Accounting knowledge
Fuent English and two additional languages (German, French, Italian or Spanish)
Computer Knowledge
Microsoft Office programs and Fidelio
