Carnival Cruise Lines continuously recruit staff for their Audio/Video Media department.

Shipboard Video Services Staff is an onboard videographer that shoots weekly events, tours, weddings, etc. The videographer is responsible for editing recorded videos and scheduling programmes for on air playback, live broadcasts, graphic creation, and more. Other duties include assistance in operating and maintaining a multiple channel CCTV system and satellite repositioning.

The Video Services Staff is expected to act professionally and must adhere to all shipboard rules and regulations as well as dress code. The Video Services Staff reports directly to the Video Services Manager as well as the Hotel Director.

Associate degree in video production (or equivalent experience) is required. Other requirements include excellent shooting and editing skills, friendly and professional attitude, willingness to learn, excellent written and verbal skills, etc.

Audio/Video Media Staff get 8-month contracts, followed by an 8-week holiday off the ship. All employees are expected to share the cabin with fellow crewmembers. Valid passport and visa (if applicable) is required.
