Princess Cruises: New Ports of Call

Cruise Ship Job News: 26th May 2006

Princess ships will call at a number of new ports during the 2006-07 season, including two featured on Crown Princess' debut season -- Grand Turk and Port Canaveral.

Grand Turk's newly developed cruise terminal and welcome center will offer a variety of guest services and attractions, including a recreational area with private beach and swimming pool. The terminal will serve as the gateway to an unspoiled, remote island experience featuring some dramatic diving/snorkeling opportunities.

Port Canaveral calls will enable passengers to explore the nearby Kennedy Space Center and other local attractions.

In addition, Princess ships will be calling for the first time in Cambodia (Sihanoukvile), enabling passengers to take an overland excursion to the dramatic Angkor Wat.

Canada/New England passengers will also visit a new port in 2006 - Ville Saguenay, which is nestled between three national parks, a fjord and the shores of the Saguenay River - offering a variety of outdoor recreation options and opportunities to visit with local artisans.
