Jamie Brune is the proprietor of cruise ship recruitment company The Mermaid Group.

Jamie started his career working as a croupier in London in 1993 and later went on to work aboard Cunards cruise ship the Vista Fjord in 1997. He spent the following four years working for Royal Caribbean aboard The Rhapsody, The Nordic Empress, The Monarch of the seas and The viking Serenade.

Upon his return to dry land Jamie pursued a career in recruitment and landed a job as a recruitment consultant with MSB International.

During his time at MSB International, Jamie decided to combine his knowledge of recruitment and his experience of cruise ships to start up his own company the Mermaid Group specialising in recruitment for cruise ship concessionaires.

Scarlet Perez has been working onboard cruise ships since 1992. After a 3 year apprenticeship in the Hotel industry, she started out as Barwaitress on a small luxury cruise ship.

Scarlet has held various positions onboard different cruise ships of various cruise lines, such as Assistant Purser, Purser, Chief Purser, Maitre D', Assistant Hotel Manager and Hotel Manager.
